Our practice
The firm acts in commercial suits and recovery proceedings, often alongside its insolvency practice, where a creditor must choose between a suit, a petition under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the enforcement of security. Each claim is built on the contract, the invoices and the correspondence, so that it can be decided on the documents.

- Summary suits under Order XXXVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
- Commercial suits under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, including pre-institution mediation under Section 12A
- Interim relief, including injunctions and attachment before judgment
- Execution of decrees and enforcement of money claims
- Defence of recovery claims and counterclaims
Approach
The firm assesses at the outset which remedy best serves the claim, whether a suit, a petition under the Code or arbitration, and pursues it with the record in order from the first hearing.
